Complementary therapies

Complementary therapies

What is New Era’s view on Complementary Treatment?

As a modern and progressive practice we believe complementary therapy has an important role in veterinary medicine and may often be used alongside conventional treatment. Complementary therapies used at our practices include:

  • Hydrotherapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • K Laser Therapy

Further details can be found here.

Who should I ask for?

Sarah Lewis is a qualified physiotherapist and makes full use of our dedicated physiotherapy and hydrotherapy unit. These treatments have proven invaluable in the management of chronic and painful musculoskeletal conditions, such as arthritis and spinal problems, but have also greatly enhanced the quality and speed of recovery from orthopaedic surgery.

We also refer cases to the highly qualified behavioural therapist, Rosie Barclay BSc (Hons) M.Phil. CCAB (rosiebarclay@uk2.net).
